Why does The Walk ACT have a Privacy Policy
Because I use an analytic app, I am required by law to have a private policy and to display a Cookie Banner when you come onto the website.

Why do I have an Analytic App?
The analytic app shows me how many visitors I have to this website, but more importantly, it shows me which walk descriptions are the most popular. This is important to me as I can get an idea as to the type of information the website visitors are interested in. This allows me to write future descriptions that are most relevant to visitors.

Visitor Analytics is a simple website analytics service which measures the traffic on our website and website visitors' general details. We collect statistics like which pages visitors visit and when, where they are approximately located, where they land first or if they are coming from a specific referral, to make our website visitors' experience better .

The Walk ACT does not share your information with any other third parties. Your information is collected by the analytical app specifically for tailoring the website to meet our subscriber and visitors needs.

We may contact you to distribute a newsletter or inform you about an upcoming walk article, or a related event.
